(Chelonia mydas)
This photo I took in the Galapagos islands, but this kind of turtle I first saw in Sipadan. Sipadan lies to the east of Borneo, a small island with steep drop-offs. Some meter to the right of the jetty is the entrance to a large cave. Without a certificate in cavediving you can't go inside. I have seen fotos and there are skeletons of turtles inside the cave. They didn't find their way out anymore and died there.
